In a time of great need, Reach World Wide NGO took the initiative to bring relief to the victims of the recent landslides in Wayanad, Kerala. Despite the fear and uncertainty that gripped the region, our dedicated team made the journey from Kottayam to Mundakai, one of the most affected areas, to offer our support.
Upon arriving at the camps in Mundakai, where the devastation from the landslide was most evident, our team distributed essential items to approximately 300 people who had lost almost everything. We provided a range of clothing, including shirts, pants, churidars, sarees, undergarments, and kids’ wear, ensuring that everyone received something suitable and comfortable.
Understanding the broader needs of the affected communities, we also distributed sanitary napkins, diapers, and various stationery items, helping to address immediate hygiene and educational needs.
Our visit was more than just a relief effort—it was a demonstration of solidarity with those who have been deeply affected by this disaster. At Reach World Wide, we believe in stepping forward in times of crisis, and our visit to Wayanad reaffirms our commitment to supporting those in need, no matter the challenges involved.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this effort, and we remain dedicated to continuing our work in bringing hope and assistance to those who need it most.
